SCOTTISH INDEPENDENCE - NO CAMPAIGN DOOMED : NATIONALISTS ON A ROLL

Now if you were a Scot, seriously pissed off by the way that you and your country have been treated by ten years of Margaret Thatcher’s Tory Government followed by ten years of broken promises from Tony Blair and Gordon Brown, who are the very last people you’d want to come up to Scotland to tell you that Scottish Independence is a bad idea and you shouldn’t be voting for it! Yes, with true sensitivity to your feelings joke-joke, the political elite at Westminster have sent you the four politicians you’d most likely want to piss on if you ever had the opportunity… Tory Prime Minister David Cameron, his Coalition sidekick Nick Clegg, creepy Ed Miliband and to cap it all, Dark Gordon, he of the scowling face and strange smile! Yes, Westminster’s sent these political emissaries to you in the hope you’ll believe anything they tell you is true and that they’ve honestly got your best interests at heart. That VOTING NO for Scottish Independence from the United Kingdom is the best and safest thing you can do. That they’ve all got your best interests at heart!

Quite frankly it’s enough to make a cat laugh. Is this Westminster political elite plain stupid or something? Or do they think that most people in Scotland are stupid?

Let’s look at the situation from a broader perspective. From a historical point of view. During the 1980s Margaret Thatcher’s social and economic policies devastated Scotland. The country was used as a Tory Test Bed for the Poll Tax. Her harsh economic policies caused widespread unemployment and social misery when most of the country’s coal mines, shipyards and steelworks were closed and incomes reduced to a dependence on tourism, whisky, shortbread biscuits, tartan and oil revenue that was already fast running out. Oh sorry, did I forget the marmalade! The Scots never forgave Thatcher for what she did. In previous decades Scotland sent a fair number of Tory MPs to Westminster but following her time in power their number fell to just about nothing so that today they send only one MP to Westminster.

Little better was to follow under Tony Blair and New Labour. The traditional Labour vote of Scotland’s industrial working class had already begun to collapse but New Labour with breathtaking arrogance continued to take it for granted. The Scots could expect nothing from Labour and got nothing. The mines and shipyards stayed closed with any prosperity concentrated narrowly along the East coast relying on oil and gas. That was just about it. Large sections of industrial Scotland had once been socialist but under New Labour that kind of thing went out the political window. There was to be no special preference for Scotland under New Labour or help for all the hardships they’d suffered due to industrial decline begun under the Tories. No special treatment at all. Instead, with a special kind of contempt the Scots were hung out to dry! They had their tourism didn’t they along with their whisky and tartan? And the Queen spent a lot of time there didn’t she? Wasn’t that enough to keep them all happy. After all there were only four or five million of them so what was all the bloody fuss about Scotland?

First the Tory vote began to collapse while that of Labour became confined to the slums. The Parties at Westminster were doing nothing for Scotland. They were both damaging the National Health Service so precious and important to the poorly fed Scots and both attacking and undermining the student grants system. Despite all the tourism and heritage the economy continued sliding downhill and professionally qualified Scots with any sense were fast leaving for England. It was against such a background of long term political neglect from the traditional parties that the Scottish Nationalist Party began growing along with widespread support for Independence. It was a movement that continued growing year by year under Blair’s New Labour followed by the ever scowling, impossibly arrogant Westminster Scot, Dark Gordon Brown who represented just about everything his country detested. A Westminster Scotsman gone contemptuous and a socialist gone rotten!

Alex Salmond, leader of Scottish Nationalism, doesn’t need to do much when he points a finger at the politicians of Westminster. When he talks of a Westminster political elite and their contempt for the Scots he’s not talking about any abstraction. He’s talking about the two main political parties who’ve done little to nothing for Scotland in the last forty years and his words have struck home. If he speaks with contempt about how these politicians have taken the people of Scotland for granted over so many years it’s a message that rings true in the ears of so many people. It’s why the Scottish Nationalists have come to head the devolved Government of Scotland. The Tories have all but disappeared, the Lib-Dems are less than a handful and Labour’s on the decline… yet the leaders of these Parties think that the best way to persuade the people of Scotland to trust them is to stay in a Union with Tory England and vote NO to Independence!

It’s a bit like the Westminster jack the lads, having pissed all over them for the last forty years, expect the Scots to get up and say thank you very much for coming to see us and giving us all your promises. Yes, we now feel happy that you’ve promised never to piss on us all over again!

Alas the Westminster political parties have treated the Scots with contempt. And having riled them up badly for so long they’re hoping a bit of sweet talk and a few further promises will be enough. The question is, will the riled up Scots decide to go it alone and separate from those the Nationalists tell them are parasites. If they do the consequences will inevitably devastate the politics of the United Kingdom. David Cameron and his Government who allowed the Scottish Nationalists to choose the wording of a Referendum that favours a YES vote will come under serious strain from his Commons backbenchers and may well be voted from office. Labour will lose the support of 41 Scottish Labour MP’s and may become politically unelectable as a future Westminster Government. Furthermore, any future United Kingdom will  have a potentially hostile nation on its northern border with a revised Union Jack looking more like a joke.

The idea for an Independence Referendum was originally proposed by Gordon Brown. This was later supported and facilitated by a Tory Prime Minister David Cameron. There can be no doubt that neither could have had any idea that it would become a deadly serious reality. They took a very serious gamble with the future of the United Kingdom without the idea ever entering their heads that the gamble could go seriously wrong. Never once asked themselves the serious question… what if it did?

SO WHAT KIND OF PEOPLE MAKE SUCH SERIOUS DECISIONS WITHOUT EVEN CONSIDERING THEIR CONSEQUENCES?

WELL I’LL TELL YOU WHAT KIND OF PEOPLE! THEY’RE CALLED BRITISH PRIME MINISTERS!

Finally a postscript.

Yesterday, David Cameron in Scotland came out with his latest clever political strategy. Addressing the people of Scotland, thinking he’d talk to them heart to heart as it were, he used the word effing… ‘effing Tories’… Such a wonderful wee touch of self-deprecation! Something that some advisor at Tory Central Office in London no doubt suggested he try out. Well you know the Scots… They’re all a bit raw… It was something that would appeal to their level! Go down well with a pint of beer and a haggis! Like that’s what the people of Scotland were really all about! That and their pockets.

Some opinion. Forget they are a people with a great cultural heritage. You could buy their NO vote with a few simple economic threats.

ISLAMIC FUNDAMENTALISM AND THE LABOUR PARTY

These days we increasingly see on our televisions screens or read gruesome stories in our newspapers about Muslim fundamentalists beheading innocent civilians or kidnapping and raping women in countries in Africa and the Middle East along with gang raping innocent teenage girls and forcing them into prostitution in the United Kingdom. The latter we now know has occurred on several occasions. And this kind of conduct in the United Kingdom has run alongside other activities such as trying to take over schools in Birmingham and the north of England for the purpose of indoctrinating young pupils in the Muslim faith as well as running a well-orchestrated campaign of intimation and assault against members of the Jewish Community and behaving in a highly inflammatory way in their support for Hamas, the Muslim terrorist group conducting a war from Gaza against the Jewish State of Israel.

What is particularly disturbing about so much of this is that their most disgusting behaviour, that of the public beheadings, is perpetrated by young British Muslims born and educated in this country who hate non-Muslims enough to clearly enjoy killing them this way and making videos of their actions for public consumption. By doing so their hope is to frighten and terrorize anyone not of their vile persuasion. Interestingly enough, these vicious young killers and their supporters in the wider British Muslim Community are too stupid to know that Hitler and the Nazis tried the same terrorizing tactics against the British people in the Second World War by bombing their cities and killing tens of thousands of people. It didn’t work. The resolve of British people to stand up against such terrorism grew increasingly strong until it simply turned to contempt.

Unless you are one of the many fundamentalist members of the Muslim Community in Britain, or a member of the Israel hating (for which read Jew hating) broad Left which includes many in the Labour Party, the Liberal Democrats and the so called Stop the War Campaign, the kind of conduct described above shouldn’t alarm you too much. Oh? Do I hear howls of protest coming from the Labour Party in this respect? If so, let’s take a look! In particular its connection to Muslim fundamentalism and terrorism.

Forget about Ed Miliband’s recent pip-squeaking criticism of supposed Tory failure to tighten up on British teenage terrorist controls. In the context of the Labour Party’s affable disposition towards fanatical Muslim preachers in recent years it’s a sick joke. Just an attempt to get a bit of voter creditability from an outraged public. No, your pip-squeaking simply won’t do Mr Miliboy! From the moment that Tony Blair’s New Labour Government came to office in 1995, Labour Home Secretaries had shown an amazingly tolerant if not friendly disposition towards Islamic Fundamentalist preachers spewing out vile anti-white, anti-Christian and anti-Jewish race hatred in sermon after sermon delivered on streets outside mosques and Muslim Community centres to large numbers of young Muslims. Nothing whatsoever was done to stop these people by Labour Home Secretaries or Police Ministers. In fact they had the police stand guard and protect them while they delivered their sermons without fear of interruption. Furthermore, during this high New Labour time of encouraging and facilitating Islamic fundamentalist sermonizing, such tolerance also extended to permitting many Muslim street traders to sell without fear of prosecution rabid anti-Semitic literature from their stalls including Nazi hate material and the works of Adolf Hitler. Indeed, any complaints made at the time were neatly deflected by the local councils where such activities took place.      

While New Labour gave all this the blind eye treatment they allowed Islamic fundamentalist groups such as Al Jahamaroon to spew out oceans of vile filth against Israel, the Jewish Community in Britain and Jews in general. None of it was a problem. The slightest complaint and the fundamentalists had a battery of human rights lawyers working on their behalf to protect their right to free speech and should any Jew complain, why, they were only supporters of an Israeli Apartheid State! In short, under New Labour these Islamo-fascists as they’ve been described got away with blue murder. The whole period in fact was perfect for the dissemination of their filthy views, especially when David Miliband, brother of Ed, was British Foreign Secretary. From a Jewish family background of hard line hostility towards Israel, Dave’s busy bee activities in respect of curtailing arms export licenses of British weapons supplied to Israel must have been sweet music in the ears of the anti-Semitic Muslim fundamentalist fanatics.

But then all this rabid hate preaching and sale of offensive Nazi propaganda material took place during the high time from 1997 when New Labour turned a blind eye to mass Muslim immigration into Britain from Africa, the Middle East and South East Asia. Somehow, it seemed, from all the guff spewed out of variously apologetic Ministerial mouths, that nothing could be done to stop it, let alone prevent the hateful sermonizing by grossly offensive Islamic fundamentalist preachers outside mosques. Yes, there were suddenly various principles of freedom of expression and human rights that came first and to repeat, various lawyers of the broad Left were only too ready to stand up for the freedom of those preachers to call for the punishment and execution of anyone who disagreed with their vile fundamentalist Muslim strictures. In short, the fanatics gained full protection to say whatever they wanted and their words were listened to and heard by countless young Muslim men. Go out and kill the infidel… would have been words burned into their thoughts… and so it is today…

If anyone’s wondering where the barbarity of those young British Muslims committing murderous acts around the world came from they should look no further than the Blair and Brown New Labour Governments. New Labour permitted the seed of a barbarous Islamic fundamentalism to be sown…

and don’t you remember the endless messages we got from BBC Television about how important and useful all these immigrants were to the British economy and British society, and what lovely people they all were... Only now, with a new fundamentalist Islamic state of their very own, THESE YOUNG BRITISH ISLAMISTS ARE SOWING WHAT THEY PICKED UP FROM THE PREACHERS IN A VILE AND MURDEROUS HARVEST OF DEATH.

So thank you Tony Blair and thank you New Labour! You were part of the process that facilitated it all!

And the Liberal Democrats? Let’s take a moment to look at things on the ground. For example, the Lib-Dems control Bath City Council. Alongside their generalized hostility towards the Jewish State of Israel the local Party has a generalised tolerance towards the local Muslim Community. Nothing wrong in that. In theory that is. The Bath Islamic Association had raised a large Palestinian flag on a flagpole from the first floor of the building where it is based near the center of town and filled its ground floor windows with large anti-Israel propaganda posters one of which condemns Israel as an Apartheid State. This itself is offensive. The raising of the flag which is entirely legal posed no problem for the Council and the posters themselves pose no problem for the Lib Dem Council leader. What may be okay for him and other Liberal Democrats however may not be okay for Jews living locally. Such actions indeed have provided a context for anti-Israel, anti-Semitic behaviour by the vociferous local anti-War Coalition Group whose members recently bullied and pushed around a young Jewish lady, filling her ears with insults. The flagpole has now disappeared but the flag still hangs.

In fact Muslim flags very similar to those flown by the Isis Islamic State killers in Iraq are being flown all over East London as I write this Post. No, I’m not joking. It’s all perfectly lawful, courtesy of legislation introduced by current Conservative Secretary of State for Communities Eric Pickles which allows any so called non offensive flags to be flown! Non-offensive? In the context of recent Islamic beheadings under the sign of such banners Mr Pickles? Perhaps you really need to have a good think about the meaning of the word offensive when it comes to considering the families of these men.

Of equal interest in connection with the situation in Bath is the fact that some Muslim students refuse to have anything to do with the Bath Islamic Centre apart from using the mosque for prayer because they regard it as extremist in its support for Hamas, the Palestinian terrorist organisation that’s also anti-Semitic. Well that’s okay for the local Liberal Democrats as long as it’s anti-Israel! Really, actually who do these people think they’re kidding?

It is the matter of providing a political context that facilitates racially aggravated behaviour that is interesting here. Labour and the Liberal Democrats refuse to see things this way and by doing so must logically wind up in bed with anti-Semites. The message is simple. Be careful about who you make friends with because they could turn into murdering monsters. It’s okay to be pro-Palestinian… It’s okay to be anti-Israel… and so the road runs on and soon you’re on the fast track to hating Jews… because the people you thought it was okay to support in the first place hate Jews. Not Israelis but Jews. So think about where you’re going to wind up. Suddenly you hate them as well! Easy-peasy!

So to return to where this Post started. Murdering Islamic terrorists don’t suddenly fall out of the skies. They’re home grown. Facilitated by free and easy political values that allow a culture of venomous intolerance and race hatred to grow. Indeed not only permit it but nurture this kind of cultural pathogen. It begins with young men who lend an ear on the street and evolves into a viral end product that joyfully slices off the heads of their fellow human beings in the name of a cause. And Britain of course has provided the perfect laboratory conditions. Nazi mass murderers and killers likewise didn’t just fall out of the skies. They were nurtured by economic and political conditions. It has been a similar breeding ground that was provided in Britain in recent decades. Permit the circumstances for evil and that’s just what you get!  

THE FRIENDS OF HAMAS FRIENDLY JEWISH CHRONICLE

The Jewish Chronicle has been and is the British Establishment mouthpiece for British Jews. The Jewish Establishment may think that the paper is THEIR VERY OWN MOUTHPIECE! A kind of authentic Jewish voice, but it's not! It's editorial staff and financial backers sing from the same hymn sheet as the British Establishment. If they didn't they'd quickjy be put in their place. Back in their box so to speak where they could all coo together about aspiring to what for thdm is the highest and most noble form of human existence possible for any human being on Earth, namely that of an English gentleman or lady.

The history of the paper is singularly dirty. In the 1930's they urged the Jews of London's East End not to demonstrate against fascist leader Oswald Mosley or support any such demonstration. From the 1880's onwards they castigated poor Jewish immigrants from Russia and Poland as being uncouth and dirty. At the same time the paper endlessly gave their support to Jewish sweatshop employers in the garment industry against Jewish workers striking fof better pay and trades union recognition.

It's current outrage that has incensed and offended almost the entire Jewish Community in Britain has been to publish an advert by a campaigning group calling for donations for Palestinian civilians, adults and children, injured or displaced in the Gaza Strip as a consequence of the current conflict between Israel and the Palestinian terrorist organisation, Hamas. What has offended so many Jews is that this broad campaigning group comprises a large number of organisations who are openly hostile towards the existenceof the Jewish State of Israel while these along with others areopenly supportive of one of Israel's greatest enemies, Hamas. What then is the Jewish Chronicle doing publishing an advert to collect money for Palestinians that was created and promoted by groups hostile tothe Jewish State? Organisations which, by the way, have no sympathy whatsoever towards Jewish civilians under attack by Hamas rockets. For these people that's quite okay!

The excuse for running the advert we are told by the paper's editor Stephen Pollard is that it doesn't reflect it's editorial policy towards Israel! Is that some kind of joke Mr Pollard? I mean, did someone tell you to say that or did it just come straight out of you arse? If its sentiment wasn't the paper's editorial policy it wouldn't have been published in the first place! So to the 99% of British Jews who support Israel fight to survive against a deadly fascist enemy this advert was a huge insult. A slap in the face for almost every Jew and a great betrayal of the Jewish Community in Britain.

The paper has now apologised to its readers and to the Jewish Community as a whole but it's already too late. Few people will be reading too much of your anti-Israel terrorist friendly shit anymore Mister Pollard. While Jewish soldiers have been giving their life's blood, you only want to show sympathy too other's. You may think that your sentiments are noble but because of the company your paper keeps they are actually disgusting.

Anti-Semitic Attacks on British Jews

In the month of July, at the height of the Israel-Palestinian conflict in Gaza, a poll taken of a fair sample of British Jews has revealed a staggering five fold increase in the number of anti-Semitic incidents experienced by them ranging from physical assault to serious or mild open verbal abuse. The emotions behind these attacks clearly relate to the Gaza Conflict and the identification of Britain's Jews with the Jewish State of Israel and their support for Israel's conduct. In this respect the killing of Palestinian civilians, almost entirely accidental, and incidental on Israeli attacks on Hamas military targets sited in areas of dense civilian population has clearly angered sections of the British population, particularly those initially hostile to Israel before the current conflict such as the broad spectrum of the British Left and many members of the Muslim community who were already supporters of the Palestinian terrorist organization, Hamas, along with many others now sensitized to the Confict and drawn towards supporting this group by the vehemently hostile anti-Israel so-called reporting by specific sections of the British media, specifically BBC and Channel 4 television along with the Guardian and Independent newspapers together with clearly remarks from Labour Party and Liberal-Democrat politicians.

When all this hostile to Israel reportage is added up and taken together it effectively provides a context. British Jews are instantly identified with a cruel and barbarous Jewish State that kills innocent civilians and children, and because the vast majority have deep sympathetic ties with Israel and give it their moral support, they are also deemed cruel and inhuman. Worthy of castigation and attack. They are attacked and abused not simply for being supporters of Israel but because they are Jews as many of the verbal remarks indicate.

Let's not try and hide the situation for what it is or cover it up under a pretext of anti-Israel, anti-Zionism or even pro-Palestinian support (even though the organisation itself is anti-Semitic). All this is simply a mask for anti-Jewish sentiment, in a phrase plain anti-Semitic racial hatred and those making these attacks are plain anti-Semites whose attacks in every aspect are no different in any way to Nazi attacks on Jews in Hitlerite Germany and elsewhere in Europe from 1933-1945. Don't kid yourselves, you people who are assaulting or abusing your fellow British citizens who happen to be Jews, your actions are no different whatsoever to the conduct of Nazis. No matter whether you call yourselves socialists or liberal democrats, you are members of the fascist left; no matter that you are Muslim you are fundamentalist bigots guided by racial hatred; no matter whether you are just plain a-politically British your attacks on Jews are guided by hatred and ignorance stirred up by the media which has provided a venomous and bigoted interpretive context fof your sentiments and filthy conduct. To all of you now attacking Jews a spade is a spade. You are behaving like Nazis and your condemnation of Israel's conduct in Gaza, however much you don't like it, is no excuse whatsoever for your filthy behaviour.

The context provided by the two television channels mentioned above is not simply dirty and provocative, it is, no matter what its news editors and editorial staff may think, by creating that context for anti-Semitism, anti-Semitic itself. You create a context for anti-Semitism and you are anti-Semitic yourself. If you do it without thinking about the monster you create then you are irresponsible and ignorant and have learned none of the lessons of history so your conduct is shameful. If you create such a context knowing its potential consequences then you are plain racists and Jew haters. Simple as that. Either way you are a disgrace and need to be shown up for the anti-Semitic bastards you are.

It's no use trying any glib rationalisation for your conduct in attacking, threatening, verbally abusing or bullying Jewish people by saying that your conduct is justified because they support Israel and therefore attacks against innocent civilizns in Gaza. It's like saying that ALL Jews are vermin, in best Nazi style. Neither can there be any excuse for the twisted, grossly distorted and unashamedly biased presentation of news stories about the Israel-Palestinian Hamas conflict in Gaza by BBC and Channel 4 Television. By your vicious and intended distortions you are creating a context for anti-Semitism and racial hatred of Jews in Britain. Your conduct is racist but please don't worry. You have nothing to fear in the way of prosecution by the police or condemnation by the British political establishment, and as for those who physically assault or verbally abuse Jews, please don't worry either. You can do it with impunity because you have nothing to fear from the police. Should any Jew complain, they'll spend ten years looking into it then find absolutely no evidence on which they can act! After all there are only 220, 000 Jews left in the UK set against a population of 5 million Muslims.

Many of those Jews questioned in the poll who'd experienced anti-Semitism recently expressed the view that they were now considering their status as British citizens. In this they may be right. Britain's Jews, now seriously under threat from the entire British Left along with large numbers of Britain's Muslim population feel themselves to be marginalised. Britain without doubt is definitely no longer a safe or happy place for Jewish people to live and those who think otherwise are only kidding themselves.

And there's the irony of it really. Between 1880 and 1910 Britain's immigrant Jews became the stalwarts of the Left, both as socialists and Labour Party activists during the first half of the 20th century. In it's second half, particularly between 1990 and 2014, they became they became the enemy of the liberalism they had helped to create. And when individual Jews and their families make the choice to live elsewhere, as so many have already done in recent decades, there will be few to raise a lament.

British Jews, your place may soon be elsewhere! But where? You are no longer welcome in Europe it seems. This will leave certain television channels and media outlets with a problem! They'll have no-one left to marginalise or contextualise anymore... But please don't worry. Poland and its Poles are still virulently anti-Semitic even though 99.9% of its Jews have been murdered, so the Jewish enemy lives on for anti-Semitic scoundrels to curse and get their teeth into, whenever and wherever.

HAMAS FRIENDLIES

The Hamas political and military movement which controls the Gaza Strip is an anti-Semitic, Islamic-Fascist organisation implacably opposed to the existence of the Jewish State of Israel and Jews everywhere. So let’s be clear. It’s fundamentalist in its Islamic outlook and fascist in its political disposition. Opposed to all forms of democracy, liberalism, socialism, trades unions, women’s rights and human rights in general. It’s views are at odds with those of many Arab States and it’s regarded as a terrorist organisation by Britain, America and all the nations of the European Community. It denies the occurrence of the Holocaust and the right of Israel to exist. Nonetheless it has its sympathizers, supporters and fellow travellers in Britain, many of whom have emerged in recent weeks to condemn Israel’s actions in Gaza while others have been busy running a hate campaign of close to the mark anti-Semitism.

These critics of Israel have not always appeared to actively support Hamas itself but if the truth be told that is what it actually amounts to. The Israelis were not in Gaza for a celebration or a party. They entered the territory to stop Hamas firing endless rockets into Israel and to destroy the vast network of tunnels dug into Israel for the purpose of infiltration, kidnap and murder. Hamas for its part has described the territory it  controls as ‘occupied’ because Israel has imposed an economic blockade to stop materials from entering the Strip used for terrorist purposes. However if that was the aim of Israel’s blockade it has clearly failed. Hamas has still been able to acquire its munitions and rockets. Almost certainly by night across the porous Egyptian border and mainly during the time its sister organisation, the Muslim Brotherhood, recently ruled Egypt.

It is a fact though that when Hamas refers to ‘occupied territory’ what it actually means is the whole of Israel, not simply the West Bank and Gaza strip, the two territories which the Palestinians control. This is something that Hamas’ British sympathizers no doubt appreciate but like all tacit enemies of the Jewish State refuse to acknowledge. In public at least! If therefore the Israelis are in Gaza to stop endless attacks on its population by Hamas Islamic Holocaust deniers, who then are those people in Britain willing to lend them an ear by vociferously condemning Israel for causing civilian casualties when attacking the Hamas tunnels, rocket launching sites and political premises, most of which are more often than not are hidden in hospitals and schools, civilian community centres and housing complexes?

The siting of such ordnance, done deliberately for achieving propaganda victories that accuse Israel of being a civilian aggressor. Something that allows BBC Television to regularly make suggestions and allegations of Israeli War Crimes! The effectiveness of such propaganda cannot be minimized as Hamas is well aware of the hostile anti-Israel disposition of these anti-Israel, pro-Palestinian sympathizers in mass media organisations like BBC and Channel 4 Television along with sections of the Press and the British political establishment. Within the latter may be counted senior figures in the Labour Party, Liberal Democrats and Tories. These Hamas ‘friendlies’ vary from those who turn a blind eye to their political and religious views and where they’re positioning their weapons to those who criticize Israel for disproportionate military action such as the Milibands along with Liberal Democrats from Ashdown and Clegg all the way down the Israel-hating spine of the Party. And now it’s the turn of those Tory Party Muslims themselves. Those who usually wear soft colors when voicing condemnation of Israel through surrogacy.

Surrogate criticism and malice towards the Jewish State has developed into a fine art in British politics. You attack Israel by criticizing others who don’t criticize or attack its conduct too much or even adopt a balanced approach when considering its actions. Thus Ed Miliband, Nick Clegg and lady come lately Baroness Warsi have attacked David Cameron for not sufficiently condemning Israel’s conduct in the Gaza Strip and the Baroness very publically resigning as a Muslim Foreign Office Minister from his Government. A fact not unnoticed by Palestinians in Gaza who have applauded her support. When these people accuse Israel of using disproportionate force against civilians there’s never a mention  of the Hamas terror organization’s deliberate siting of missiles and tunnels in civilian areas. NOT A WORD OR A PEEP!

With BBC and Channel 4 Television inferring that civilian casualties are deliberate, indeed turning the accusation of malevolent intent into gospel with barely a word broadcast to counter this bigoted and thoroughly malicious anti-Israel presentation, it quite frankly takes on an anti-Semitic character. No initial condemnation of Hamas for firing its rockets and no stating the fact that Israel gave the territory to the Palestinians as a gesture of reconciliation and friendship. Instead you get an easily created dichotomy of Israeli-Jewish aggressors and poor Palestinian victims. It’s not only an easy wave for the Hamas fellow travellers to surf, it’s also an easy way for them to ride their anti-Israel, anti-Semitic emotions.

We’ve all seen Ed Miliband busy on airwaves in recent days. Proclaiming that he’s Jewish himself. Being seen in Israel laying a wreath at the Holocaust Memorial. Mouthing his friendship… etc. etc. But let’s look a bit deeper. Ed and David Miliband come from an interesting background. Their mother has been a lifelong enemy of the Jewish State, actively campaigning against it for many years with the most vicious kind of propaganda possible, opposing her Marxist academic socialist views to those of even the mildest Zionist kind. Everything about Israel to her is hateful, never mind the practical operation of socialism in Israel by the kibbutz agrarian movement. That’s the kind of background her sons grew up in. A self-hating Jewess who put her socialist ideology above everything else, never mind the fact that there have always been socialist parties in Israel, also a country with a strong labour movement. And never mind that Karl Marx’s daughter, Eleanor, no less was very proud of her own Jewish heritage.

No, like Hamas, Mrs Miliband wants to see the destruction of a Jewish State. Holocaust or no Holocaust she never had any time for the idea of Jewish people living in their own land and her son, now leading the Labour Party which, by the way, was founded by a notorious anti-Semite, keenly opposes the right of the Jewish people to defend themselves by proposing an arms export ban from Britain to Israel! Shame Ed Miliband that you’ve learned nothing from history and wind up giving moral support to a gang of Muslim fascists. With ‘friends’ like you and your brother, the State of Israel doesn’t need enemies!

The usual way for terrorist friendly fellow travellers to attack Israel is through the allegation of disproportionality. It creates a high odor factor for little expenditure. All kinds of words have been bandied about from the Secretary General of the United Nations to the American State Department and President Obama himself. Brutal… barbaric… murderous… You name it! And you’d also better say while you’re at it the care that the Israeli forces took before they bombarded civilians areas to regularly keep those civilians informed of their intentions well in advance. There were few if any purposeful and indiscriminate Israeli attacks made without warning and for the television media to suggest this through its correspondents in Gaza endlessly stating and repeating such Palestinian claims is despicable, with BBC and Channel 4 Television in on the act.

These media outlets are enemies of the Jewish State as much as Hamas and it’s time that Israel and British Jews recognised it. Both channels are allowed to broadcast from Israel. A generous gesture seeing what they’ve been doing but then Israel is a democracy, which is more than the views of its enemies are from plain downright hostile to Hamas terrorist friendlies. That’s friends of Israel hating terrorists to me and you!

TROLLS ON A ROLL: THE ANTI-ISRAEL HATE CAMPAIGN IN THE MEDIA

Whenever there’s a serious conflict between Israel and the Palestinians, especially the Hamas Islamic terrorists who control the Gaza Strip and used it to fire rockets into Israel from the moment they took over the territory, out come the Israel hating trolls of the British Left along with part of the British media, and not only in Britain but also in Europe, especially France, Scandinavia, and more recently Holland. This trolling is characterized by a ferocious vituperation, especially when United Nations backed Palestinian civilian targets such as schools and hospitals are hit. Whenever such things happen the fury of the Left and its media trolls knows no bounds and allegations of War Crimes and barbarism make the rounds like an accusatory finger pointing at the right of Israel to exist.

Such incidents and the loss of civilian lives can be looked at another way. Anyone who knows anything about the history of the Jewish people and the humanitarian ethics that guides the personal conduct of Israel’s defence forces as a whole would immediately understand and accept that Jewish people in general and the soldiers of Israel in particular bear no malice whatsoever towards Palestinian civilians, whether men, women or children, and would never countenance or support any deliberately harmful or malicious attack upon them. In other words they would appreciate and realise that such deaths in schools, hospitals or municipal centres are entirely unintentional and accidental.

The Israelis have said that that the Hamas terrorists, freedom, fighters to many on the Left, are using the civilian population of Gaza as human shields, storing large quantities of rockets and other military hardware in municipal premises which they use to attack Israel, also building tunnels to reach and enter its territory to kidnap and murder civilians. In this they are probably correct, but such allegations cut no ice whatsoever with their fervent supporters from the British Left and sympathizers in the British media, though War Crimes in themselves they may be, particularly when using Israeli army uniforms as a disguise for engaging in such infiltration. 

You don’t need to look far for this trolling. It’s not just spread across the press or television but widely all over the Internet with a small army of active anti-Semitic Israel hate trolls perennially busy on Facebook and Twitter. Taken together they’re a miasma of infantile filth that’s individually crawled up out of their toilet bowls with the aim of infecting the public mind with their virulent bigotry. And among this Internet army of hate trolls not a few Jews themselves may be included. Those of the self-hating kind along with others who kid themselves that the Palestinians are an oppressed people and therefore a worthy cause for socialists who believe in liberty and social justice. And with this in mind both they and the whole spectrum of the socialist left think it’s correct to give their support to Hamas, a Muslim group with a fundamentalist interpretation of Islam. One that has no interest whatsoever in social equality, social justice and human rights… in political parties, trades unions or workers’ rights.

Indeed, Hamas has no interest whatsoever in either socialism, liberalism or democracy of any form whatsoever and the reason is simple enough. It’s an organisation rooted in religious extremism. The structure of social organisation throughout most Arab countries today is feudal. There’s no conflict between labour and capital because there’s simply no capitalism to speak of, or where it exists it’s small scale at best. Likewise there’s no large scale working class because there’s no large scale industrial production. In short the contradictions between labour and capitalism common to modern Western industrial society is unknown. Religion prevails as the dominant ideology so organizations such as Hamas can have no political agenda for social change outside the Islamic faith that might appeal in any way to Western liberals or socialists. Marxism, revolutionary socialism or even social democracy are utterly alien notions to such Islamic fundamentalists who don’t believe that women have a right to an education, support judicial practices that are barbaric and abhorrent let alone taking the view that homosexuals are animals best put to death.

There are indeed countless areas of ideological difference between the so called freedom fighters of Hamas and the British leftist trolls of the Internet along with sections of the British media and supporters of the Labour Party and Liberal Democrats. Their support for Hamas therefore cannot be based on any rational ideological confluence of views, so what then is it that draws them together in a broad church of support for an Islamic terrorist group and its armed fight against a democratic Jewish State with its wide range of political parties and trades union movement? It’s a simple question to answer. What unites them to one another is their loathing of Israel as a Jewish State. Only scratch this a little more and it’s a fundamental loathing of Jews. Many of these trolls may never have met any Jews. Just seen them in the standard televised showing wearing beards and round furry hats and found their appearance utterly alien much the same as Hitler once did of those orthodox Jews he saw in his youth. After all there aren’t many Jews around in the UK and the orthodox is used to typify them all. Indeed, their actual number is tiny so most people get what they see from the television.

But never mind that! They’re all thought to be rich! Got loads of money which they make in dubious ways and only too often ostentatiously splash it around. Others perhaps hang on to the ever popular historic accusation that they’re responsible for the death of Jesus. They murdered Jesus, I heard it said on a fairly regular basis during early morning assemblies at the Church of England School I once taught at. However never mind the reasons. One thing’s for sure. Those who are hostile to Israel and support Islamic terrorists fighting to destroy it aren’t likely to hold out a hand to any Jew anywhere!

Another set of trolls, those more ‘respectable’ than the nasties who dole out their spleen on the Internet busily stirring up hatred and condemnation of Israel, are the BBC and Channel Four Television media monkeys best typified by Jon Snow, that most regular and venomous long term critic of Israel in the entire British media. Strangely enough his hostility to the Jewish State seems to have given him a certain credibility. Not only was he recently allowed into Israel to broadcast a snide anti-Israel diatribe, he was also given the courtesy by the Israeli ambassador to Britain of a lengthy interview during which he just couldn’t hold back his bile. Alas, the man hasn’t yet realised that when his views are countered with a calm, logical and moderate response it only reveals his bias all the more. Makes his frustration in having his hostile views countered with tolerance ever more clear so that he always seems to end up nonplussed, bitter and twisted. Oh dear, oh dear, you’ve failed to ruffle their feathers and those damned moderate Jews have got the better of you on the box all over again.

Jon Snow apart, and I’ve never heard a good word about the Jewish State from him, BBC Television has its own very special kind of bigotry and hostility towards Israel. Their so called academic experts, presented as ‘independent’ are invariably pro-Hamas terrorist and hostile to Israel, slandering that country endlessly. Their journalists are based in large numbers in Gaza and specialize in presenting photo images of sick or injured Palestinian children accompanied with unanswered accounts of Israeli aggression… of allowing various United Nations Palestinian support organisation staff to give unchallenged accounts of events… of giving lengthy interviews to leading members of this internationally recognized terrorist organisations while only occasionally allowing Israeli politicians to present the viewpoint of that country. BBC Television also specializes in seeking out and interviewing Israeli anti-war soft targets for its very own pro-Hamas propaganda purposes! Naïve members of Israeli Peace Campaign groups are a special target for these highly politicized so called correspondents.

No, in most part, BBC Television is an endless snide enemy of the Jewish State while Channel Four doesn’t even bother to disguise its bigoted hostility. It’s little different in much of the press with the Guardian, Mirror and Independent leading the way. Only the Murdoch press and Sky Television is fair and moderate, a major enemy to all those on the Left. Imagine then the contradictions of being a genuine Israel supporting British socialist today! You don’t like the anti-trades union Left baiting Murdoch yet you’re grateful for his support for Israel, the Jewish State! So make up your minds, Jewish socialists… what the hell are you? Are you a Jew or are you a socialist? This seems to be a contradiction presented to the minds of so many British Jews today. It’s not enough having to deal with the bigotry of the anti-Semitic, anti-Israel trolls on the internet. They’ve got personal ideological contradictions and questions of allegiance in their heads as it is!

If the anti-Israel trolls serve any purpose it’s to deflect such Jews from the more serious issue of what they are ideologically and where they stand. And it’s an emotional issue just as much as it is intellectual. If you’re a genuine socialist then you can’t support the oppressive Israeli State… Or if you’re a dedicated supporter then you can’t be a socialist! That’s how it’s presented to so many Jews these days. You can either be one thing or another but not both.  

Quite frankly this creation of such a dilemma is fraudulent and something invented to go along with the notion of an oppressed Palestinian cause. Much of the agrarian structure of modern Israel is indeed collectivist and socialist. It’s Labour Movement has powerful historical roots. Never mind its ever demonstrative religious minority, secularism is widespread throughout Israeli society. Thus the perennial question. Is it possible to be a Jew and a Socialist at the same time? It’s a question I’d like to answer this way. In Israel it’s easier than it is today in Britain and most other countries in Europe. It’s a dilemma deliberately presented to those who are born Jews, who are often not religious in any way, who believe in a Socialist ideology but still remain Jews because it’s not something they’ll just give up and abandon. Ideological critics of Jews tell them they can’t have it both ways. No you can’t have it both ways!

It helps give Jews an easy disposition! Nobody’s going to tell me anything! And truth to tell they can be both things at the same time with a simple shrug of the shoulders! It’s another case, another example of fiddling with your intellectual and daily existence on the roof! Not a case of being absolutely one thing or another but being both at the same time and somehow dealing with it! Trolls are dogmatic and full of hate. Jews are flexible. And by Christ, they need to be in a modern world only too hostile all over again.

Yes, you can be a Jew and a Socialist at the same time. Liberal minded and secular. A man or a woman of the big world we live in and fair minded with it. Someone who cares about the rights of minorities while knowing your own history and remembering that you too are part of a historically oppressed group that’s had to find its own way to freedom over thousands of years and won’t be gulled by dogmatists and their snide hangers on who try to put you in a corner and make you feel bad about this, that or the other.

ISRAEL, THE GAZA STRIP AND THE PALESTINIANS

The first and most important thing to be understood in this Post is that Israel is a Jewish State. In fact it is the Jewish State, the historical and geopolitical State of the Jewish people even with many non-Jews living there alongside Jews who are not in any way religious! Many Jews in fact, who’d had former nationalities are now Israelis. Added to this is the key historical fact that Israel has been a Jewish State for thousands of years. Despite the brutal expulsions of the Jews from their land by the Romans, accompanied by mass murder and genocide, such attempted depopulations were never total or complete. Jews continued living there in small numbers one way or another. Furthermore, despite earlier conquests by Assyrians, Babylonians, Egyptians and Greeks, then Romans and Christian Crusaders, Mamalukes , Arabs, Ottoman Turks and finally the British, Jewish people have always lived there under one kind of occupation and subjugation after another.

The Jewish people of Israel, scattered to the four winds by conquest and persecution over thousands of years have always somehow returned to their historical land. Millions of Jews might have left it over time or were destroyed in it, but a handful always stayed and held onto the soil and their faith. And through all this long time the descendants of those who’d left always seemed to drift back. And to make the story even more fascinating, the Jews of the Jewish State today don’t mind sharing it with the Arab Israelis who live there, who of course have the right to vote. Something the Jews themselves never had for thousands of years until 1949 when the State of Israel was created anew by Resolution of the United Nations.

Up until 1918 the land was ruled by the Turkish Ottoman Empire until its defeat by the British in the First World War. The latter then took over a Mandate to rule the territory. During the 1930’s and up until 1945 the Jews of Europe were persecuted and mostly annihilated by Hitler’s Nazi Germany. They had very few friends. The nations of the world wrung their hands and looked away. Between 1945 and 1949 the pitiful remnants of those who’d survived the death camps along with others who’d somehow stayed alive elsewhere crawled back to British Palestine. There they were helped by those Jews and their families who’d lived there from the 1800’s, mainly immigrants from Russia and Poland working the land, and there they slowly, painfully returned to their human selves with little help from their British rulers. In fact it’s true to say that the British Labour Government of the time put every obstacle in the way of Jews who’d survived the death camps from reaching Palestine, going so far as to imprison large numbers of them in barbed wire camps on Cyprus. And this despite the fact that thousands of Jewish men from Palestine fought in British army detachments during the Second World War!

Further to the Resolution of the United Nations the British departed in 1949 but not before handing large quantities of arms to Arabs living inside the territory who immediately attacked the Jews living there supported by surrounding Arab states. This was Israel’s first modern War of Independence with its Jewish population emerging victorious. A new independent Jewish nation state had been born out of the blood of the holocaust and thousands of years of persecution along with this latest sacrifice by its soldiers. Subsequently the Jewish State was attacked by Arab armies in 1956, 1967 and 1973. In the Six Day War of 1967 Israel captured the Gaza strip of land from the Egyptians and the West Bank of the River Jordan from the Jordanians including the eastern part of Jerusalem. Both the Gaza strip and the West Bank were now militarily occupied by Israel.

Subsequent to this, under substantial political pressure from the United States, the main international supporter of Israel on the world stage, along with Britain, never really a friend, there have been substantial changes to the occupation and political character of both territories. A new national political grouping had emerged from among Arabs displaced by Israel’s initial victory of their War of Independence who called themselves Palestinians and have over the last five decades, through various terrorist campaigns and attacks on the Jewish State and on Jews and Jewish organizations internationally, gained support from the Western media and passed themselves off as representing the rights of all Arab opponents of Israel. Giving way to international pressure and receiving continued promises of support from its supposed political friends, Israeli Governments subsequently gifted control of the West Bank to Yasser Arafat’s secular Fatah terrorist movement, allowing its towns and cities to be occupied by the Palestinian Arabs while at the same time creating settlements of Jews in that territory.

It is currently the political demand of the Palestinian Government of this West Bank that such settlements be removed and control handed to the Palestinians for the creation of a purely Palestinian Arab state.

The Israeli-Palestinian conflict concerning the Gaza Strip is more disturbing. It’s a problem in my view  created essentially by the Israelis, or more accurately by the staggeringly short-sighted and stupid Israeli politician, former hero-general Ariel Sharon. Having for years wanted to enter Israeli politics, this well-known military figure initially attached himself to the Likud Government of Menachem Begin. However finding little room there for his personal ambition decided to move out and form his own political party, Kadima a kind of right-centrist outfit. Jewish settlement of the captured Gaza strip had already begun prior to the time of the Begin Government but during its period in office went forward in earnest. Large numbers of orthodox and secular Jews felt inspired to move there, setting up a wide variety of agricultural settlements and enterprises along with schools, synagogues and housing.

The Gaza Strip, having formerly belonged to the Egyptians, became a place of passionate though benign Jewish settlement. Ariel Sharon however saw it as something else. A kind of stepping stone for his national and international political aspirations. In a General Election his Kadima Party emerged victorious and seeking above all to be recognised as a peacemaker after his long military career, both by an Israeli public tired of conflict and by the Americans, Sharon decided to commit himself to a peacemaking agenda with the Palestinians. His aim being to give his country what he thought would be a lasting peace. He’d fought in many wars and was now driven by the dream of peace, convinced he was the one to achieve it. To this end he’d therefore make a binding deal with the long term Palestinian enemy and to show he was in earnest, in a gesture nothing short of astounding, offered the Palestinians political and territorial control of the Gaza Strip. What followed was nasty and stupid. To back up his commitment to the Palestinians and belief that peace would come from his generosity,

HE ORDERED THE ISRAELI ARMY BACKED BY LARGE NUMBERS OF POLICE TO EVICT ALL THOSE JEWS WHO’D SETTLED THERE!

In a period that ran into months thousands of Jewish Settlers along with their wives and families were forcibly removed amid terrible scenes from their homes and agricultural settlements by Ariel Sharon’s police and soldiers, all of these being destroyed to make way for Palestinian occupation by, among others, members of former terrorist groups. Jewish settlers in the Gaza Strip had already been subjected to a long campaign of hostility and hatred in the Western media often being described as extremists and fascists when the truth is that most of them were simply Jewish idealists wanting to further extend and create the land of Israel, something that infuriated the Jew-hating, Israel-hating European left with the British left and British media, BBC and Channel 4 Television standing out in particular as open enemies of the Jewish State. Their pro-Palestinian hatred of Israel only a cover for their fundamental anti-Semitism in general.

So with the Jewish Settlers of the Gaza Strip vilified as extremists and facing a hostile international climate now backed up by the United States, Ariel Sharon made his gesture of compromise and friendship and handed the territory over to the Palestinians. Within months all trace of Jewish people having lived there was obliterated and their synagogues desecrated and destroyed. Tens of thousands of Palestinians began moving in with no more Jewish presence tolerated. The secular now former terrorist movement took political control only worse was to come. Within a couple of years trouble of a far greater consequence began.

Alongside Yasser Arafat’s secular Fatah movement another terrorist grouping began to emerge. Hamas was not simply Muslim but Islamic and Fundamentalist. Entirely opposed to the very existence of the Jewish State of Israel. Since its inception it had only one political aim, the destruction and annihilation of the Jewish State. Ariel Sharon had handed control and occupation of the Gaza Strip to Fatah, all Jews forcibly removed. Now a struggle began between the military wing of Hamas and Fatah within the Gaza Strip for its control. Within weeks the secular Fatah was defeated and ousted by the Muslim fundamentalists and in 2007, Israel, a tiny country as it is, faced a new and deadly threat. From its immediate west a fanatical and well-armed Muslim terrorist group and from the north the Iranian backed Hezbollah terrorists. In short Ariel Sharon’s totally short-sighted political gesture, born of a mixture of personal ambition and political ignorance now placed Israel in serious jeopardy.

The Hamas Movement is not only anti-Israel it is also virulently anti-Semitic. It’s stated aim is to wipe out and destroy the Jewish presence in their ancient historical land and to that end has fought a relentless  terrorist campaign against the Jewish State. When it wasn’t kidnapping Israeli citizens it was manufacturing rockets and launching them into Israel, and in breaks between doing this it was digging tunnels for its terrorists to get into Israel and kill Jewish civilians. Even with the hateful holocaust denying regime of Iran dedicated to destroying the Jewish State and preparing nuclear weapons for this, the Hamas regime in Gaza is currently Israel’s prime military enemy. Since taking over the Gaza Strip in 2007 it has received the political and electoral support of Palestinians living there but done little to nothing for their welfare, preferring instead to launch endless attacks on Israel from that territory. Three serious conflicts have now been fought and many truces called, Hamas unilaterally breaking them all with kidnappings and rocket fire.

Another conflict is currently ongoing. Having recently kidnapped and murdered three Israeli youths, Hamas launched a three week rocket offensive against Israel. Their missile capability has drastically increased. The distance achieved now no longer a matter of dozens of miles but hundreds, putting many Israeli cities under threat. These have all been manufactured under previous terms of truce. So the threat to the existence and survival of the Jewish State is serious. The attack on Israel by endless rockets from an anti-Semitic Islamic Fundamentalist group will not suddenly end by fruitless negotiation however much the Americans wish it. Hamas does not recognise the right of the Jewish State of Israel to exist and will not deviate from that policy so how the Americans, the British and the rest of Europe expect Israel to offer compromises and make a truce with its deadly enemy only bent on its destruction IS A MYSTERY.

The United States is no longer Israel’s friend as it had once been. Israel is certainly no friend of Barak Obama and likewise no friend of the British Government and its Arabist Foreign Office. Right now Israeli soldiers in Gaza are bravely fighting for the life of the Jewish State and its Jewish people with their dearest blood. And right now the Governments of the West like those of Scandinavia along with France, along with the entire wretched anti-Semitic British left are rolling their eyes and shaking their hands in disgust.  So here’s a message for all you anti-Semitic hypocrites…

WHEN THE JEWISH PEOPLE WERE PERSECUTED DOWN THE AGES AND BEING MURDERED IN MILLIONS DURING THE HOLOCAUST YOU ALL WRUNG YOUR HANDS AND CRIED OUT OH DEAR OH DEAR HOW DREADFUL… BUT ALL OF YOU DID NOTHING.

NOW THAT THE JEWS HAVE THEIR OWN STATE, ONE THEY CREATED WITH THEIR OWN SWEAT AND TOIL AND ARE AGAIN FIGHTING FOR THEIR SURVIVAL AGAINST MURDERERS YOU GET UP AND SAY,

HOW DARE YOU FIGHT BACK… YOU OUGHT TO BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELVES KILLING CIVILIANS! I MEAN HOW HORRID… YOU JEWS FIGHTING BACK!

Ariel Sharon gave the Gaza Strip to the Palestinians in the hope of creating a lasting peace between the Palestinian people and those of Israel. In this he was totally naïve, as are most Israeli generals turned politician. Golda Meir and David Ben Gurion would never have done such a thing. The consequences of his ridiculous gesture to those who could never understand such a thing has been a disaster. The Palestinians, fully supporting their terrorist political leaders, only saw it as an incomprehensible gift by someone who must have been stupid. You gave us territories from which we could attack you, you arsehole, so that’s what we’re doing!
